Time’s Inexorable Flow

My dad and my son
On the river Inn in Upper Austria,
the river that runs through our lives.

I took the title of this post
from Don Willmott's review
of the Robert Redford movie
"A River Runs Through It",
a favorite
of this daughter and sister of fly fishermen.

A beautiful and poignant photograph ... so peaceful too. I wish we had a canoe and a river, filled with salmon and trout, to paddle down right now!

Lovely Merisi.

'A River Runs Through It' was one of the things that got me interested in fly-fishing; I started to learn the craft 4 years ago now. Such a fantastic (and sad ) film.
