I like how you are able to take pictures of simple everyday occurances, freeze them in time and make them seem so special. And what type of camera do you prefer to use? I am doing camera research and would appreciate advice from you! Thank you.
If I were in the market for a digital camera, I would go for a Sony Cyber-shot, the DSC-W80, for example. Available under 200 Euros in some stores, a real bargain. It is not one of the slimmest models, but I regard this as a plus. Among others it has these features I regard as desirable: Zeiss lens (a really great lens!), optical viewfinder (rare in cameras that cheap, but you'll be grateful for it in direct sun or low light situations), the portrait mode (quite complex for a camera in that price range and extrenely handy). Best if you google for that camera, read and compare with others.
All the pictures on my blog, up to April 2008, have been taken with an even older Sony Cybershot. I have tried other brands, but would always go back to Sony.
since I am in a place where summer has never begun, I really enjoyed this photo. I want to sit down next to them and feel the sunshine on my shoulders! Oh, and my absolute favourite was my sony cyber shot. Unfortunately, it had that gear problem that stops the lens from working properly (we bought spare gears, but they seemed to go quicker each time).
I seek to capture the beauty that is present in every day, and there is inevitably so much more than I could ever expect to grasp.
National Geographic Traveler About Merisi's: "Each entry features a collection of photos from Merisi's excursions around town. This is a great place to start if you are looking for some local perspective."
Spotted by Locals
Merisi’s blog is a venture through the best photos of the Viennese landscape of a local: the Viennese dogs, the spring, and especially the cafes!
If you live in Vienna, this blog is gonna make you feel like you’re missing out on something and if you’ve been there, you’ll definitely wish you never left!
Merisi's Vienna was selected Blog of Note in February 2009

So much in a hurry. More questions? ;-)
Is there a camera that you fancy?
