Thank you. :-) Can you see the little beacon of light? It's a window of a building on the other side of the garden. It's so far away, it looks almost like a spaceship hovering there.
I seek to capture the beauty that is present in every day, and there is inevitably so much more than I could ever expect to grasp.
National Geographic Traveler About Merisi's: "Each entry features a collection of photos from Merisi's excursions around town. This is a great place to start if you are looking for some local perspective."
Spotted by Locals
Merisi’s blog is a venture through the best photos of the Viennese landscape of a local: the Viennese dogs, the spring, and especially the cafes!
If you live in Vienna, this blog is gonna make you feel like you’re missing out on something and if you’ve been there, you’ll definitely wish you never left!
Merisi's Vienna was selected Blog of Note in February 2009

Oh yes, I noticed it yesterday too, and checked on it again today.
The bit of color of the light gives this picture the extra zing and mystery.! Do you agree? :)
Oh yes, I agree! :-))
Not to dismiss the depth of field either! ;-)
That was the first thing I wondered about on seeing the picture.
When anything is the size of foreground elements it adds a mystery :)
I was surprised that my little camera managed to capture the faraway window so nicely and I appreciate that both of you liked it also. Thank you! :-)
Oh my! A beautiful photo of snow! A quest of mine. :-) Maybe... someday... I will accomplish it.
And silly me, to have taken so long to discover your other blogs!

That's a pretty good picture. I call those photos "snow diamonds"
